Neurodivergent & 2SLGBTQ+ Affirming Virtual Therapy

Compassionate & Inclusive Care

About

Hello! My name is Noor and I’m a Registered Psychotherapist and the founder of Liberated Self Psychotherapy. I created Liberated Self Psychotherapy as I’m passionate about facilitating a space where support and care is provided through a non-pathologizing, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed lens.

As someone who is queer, South Asian and neurodivergent, I understand and recognize the unique relationship between social identities and well-being. As someone who has studied psychotherapy and continues to engage in my own personal therapy, I recognize how invaluable therapy can be for healing and liberating your self.

I firmly believe that as we heal ourselves, we heal one another.

Land Acknowledgement

I recognize that the land I live and work on is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations under Treaty 3. I understand that I am a settler on Turtle Island (Canada), and that its current state is a result of the historical and ongoing harm caused to Indigenous folx by colonialism.

I am committed to engaging in conversation around the injustices caused by colonialism, and I support the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action. I am also committed to decolonizing my psychotherapy practice, and supporting social justice endeavors.
